Exciting new things to come

It seems like everywhere I look there are news stories regarding legalizing marijuana and the use of CBD the calming derivative of marijuana which got my entrepreneurial mind wondering wouldn’t it be great if we took our Delicious Boozy treats to the next level🤔 you guessed it “Edibles”. I know what you guys are thinking “Dakota I’m not too sure that’s Dakotable” and you would be correct while marijuana is not yet legal in Illinois hopefully soon it will be (Thanks Governor Pritzker) but until then maybe we will get our feet wet and try out culinary cannabis. I am about town on the Northwest side attending a wonderful workshop “ The Business of Culinary Cannabis”at “The Hatchery Chicago ” a new shared Kitchen, Food and Beverage business development center located at 135 N. Kenzie Ave . The information shared here was very informative and exciting I look forward to your thoughts on this , tell me how you feel about legalization of marijuana and even about our next steps expanding the business to edibles

Introduction

First things first please allow me to introduce myself .

My name is Dakota Randle, I am the owner and creator of MS.Woods Inc. which is the parent company of Drunken Cupcake Ladies and Randle’s Soul Food Sides. I am a single mother of one teenage son (Gabriel), we recently uprooted our lives from the suburbs of Chicago to the City of Chicago so Gabe could attend a wonderful High School in his field of interest and to give my entrepreneurial spirit room to grow.

When it was first suggested to me to do a blog I was completely against it . I didn’t want to be some self proclaimed expert of all things and nothing at the same time. I do a little of this and a little of that but by no means am I an expert on any of it. The blog I was advised would help grow my brand and give the businesses more exposure -Sure-but at what cost! I needed to be sure that the blog would be authentically me which is Easy or should I say convenient (I don’t want to send out the wrong message) (insert Smiley Face here).

With that being said “All Things Dakotable” is just that, things that I can do, no fuss ! no stress! most of the time! I am a regular woman doing regular woman things . I am what many would call a work in progress, I lose my patience pretty quick sometimes, I get tired, I make lots of mistakes. But I am still a woman who likes nice things and I want them easy, quick, and stylish.

So to say “All Things Dakotable” is to say just that, it is all things easy, quick, and stylish
